and atmosphere
The restaurant takes its name from the historic building it occupies, dating back to 1877. Originally a stable and carpentry shop, the building has been transformed into an elegant restaurant, preserving many of its original architectural elements.
A warm and refined environment, perfect for romantic dinners, gatherings with friends, or special events.
During the warmer months, guests can dine in the outdoor area, enjoying the clear mountain air.

The Chef personally selects and gathers wild herbs in the spring and forest fruits in the autumn, bringing variety and seasonality to a menu that changes monthly.
The Chef
Stefano Alessandro Marchetto is the heart and soul of Pierre Alexis 1877. His passion for cooking, inherited from his maternal grandmother Regina, combined with a deep knowledge of the territory and constant experimentation, makes each dish an intense experience.
His journey began with various experiences as Chef and Executive Chef in several restaurants in the Aosta Valley, eventually leading him to London and Crete.
In 2012, together with his wife Monica, he took over Pierre Alexis 1877, earning significant recognition from industry guides.
Today, the restaurant is a benchmark for gourmet cuisine in Courmayeur and the Aosta Valley.
